Bizerba L&C develops the three essential components of the laminating process itself – paper and foil-based surface materials, adhesive and liner – and uses them exclusively in its own label production.

Labels are bearers of vital information that are exposed to different conditions depending on the labelling process:
Grease, dust and other particles
Light, especially UV light
Climatic extremes, e.g. of temperature and humidity
Manipulations, e.g. by writing, creasing or tearing
Labels withstand these influences better or worse depending on the quality of the surface material and adhesive properties. For us that is reason enough to "laminate", i.e. to bond all three components in-house at our production site in Bochum.
