 Eugene, Oregon, USA, Datalogic came out with a combination unit for the checkout consisting of scanner and scale. The cashier scans a product, the cash register transmits the basic price to the scale. Up to here, everything is fairly simple. Subsequently, the scale determines the weight, calculates the selling price and sends the data to the receipt printer of the cash register. This is still easy to understand. |
